Research summary > [Click to expand]

Research focuses on corporate law and securities regulation, including the international dimension of these topics and interdisciplinary aspects. In many of my writings I employ a comparative approach to identify trends of convergence or divergence, for example in recent projects on primary market disclosure and gatekeeper liability. Other projects deal with the relationship between legal reform and economic development and economic concepts and moral philosophy. I am also working on a comprehensive treatise on Comparative Company Law for Oxford University Press that encompasses US, English, French, and German law and the relevant legislative measures and initiatives of the European Union.
