Carole Dalin is interested in water resources, food security, and climate issues. At the LSE, she is working on the water-energy-food nexus in southern Africa, and on its role in climate change adaptation and improvement of communities' resilience. Carole's Ph.D. work focused on the use of water resources for food, by quantifying, analyzing and modeling virtual water trade networks. She has also been exploring the policy implications of food trade and embedded water resources in China.
