Discussions on Human Rights and China

In 2008, two events took place ahead of the Beijing Olympics on human rights in China. They provided an opportunity for experts on both sides of the discussion to make their case, and provided invaluable context for anyone wanting a deeper understanding of the issues at stake.

The events were organised by the LSE Students' Union branch of Amnesty International in partnership with the Taiwan Research Programme, which has a research theme on Civil Society.

There is also a report about these events in the LSE News Archive.
