I am one of the UK's leading business historians, specialising in the history of public sector enterprise and privatisation, and in particular the railways. Wrote a commissioned history of the British brewing industry and the official history of the Channel Tunnel for UK government. Also interested in management, business organisation and risk. Active in field of business archives.
