Sebastiano Bavetta is interested on the analysis and measurement of freedom and on issues in constitutional political economy, local governments and lobbying activities. His work has examined issues ranging from the axiomatic definition and measurement of individual freedom to the empirical measures of the degree of economic liberty. Currently he is working on refining empirical measures of freedom, on the reforming local government in Italy and on the role played by special interest groups in determining policy outcomes.
