Laurent Warlouzet's research project (2012-14) deals with European economic integration and the crisis of the 1970s. His case-studies are France, the UK and Germany, and he is particularly interested in the fields of Competition Policy and Industrial Policy. Among his recent publications are an article entitled "De Gaulle as a Father of Europe" stemming from his Phd (Contemporary European History 2011), and a synthesis on the history of EEC/EU Competition Policy (EUI working paper 2010).

Laurent Warlouzet is a Marie Curie post-doctoral researcher in 2012-2014. A lecturer at the University of Artois (Arras, France), and a former Jean Monnet fellow at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence, he taught European integration history and European current issues in Sciences-Po Paris and in HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) France. He specialised in European cooperations from the institutional and from the economic angles. His current research project deals with European economic integration and the crisis of the 1970s. His case-studies are the EEC, France, the UK and Germany, and he is particularly interested in the fields of Competition Policy and Industrial Policy. Among his recent publications are an article entitled "De Gaulle as a Father of Europe" stemming from his Phd (Contemporary European History 2011), a synthesis on the history of EEC/EU Competition Policy (EUI working paper 2010), and his Phd: Le choix de la CEE par la France.
