Jan Kleinheisterkamp (Dr. iur., Hamburg) is a Senior Lecturer in Law at LSE, where he teaches international commercial arbitration and contracts. He is a qualified German lawyer and is admitted to the bar in Hamburg. Prior to joining LSE, he worked as a research fellow at the Max-Planck-Institute for Comparative and International Private Law in Hamburg (1998-2004) and was appointed as an assistant professor at the HEC School of Management, Paris (2004-2008).
