Research in the fields of economic and urban sociology, with a common interest in the socio-economic production and organisation of space at different scales - from the impact of economic restructuring on urban neighbourhoods to the local impacts of global capital movements. Interests in urban studies include cities and social theory, urban development and gentrification, urban divisions and public space. In economic sociology, her research focuses on markets, capitalism and globalisation, trust and social capital.
