Daniela Lup has a MBA and PhD from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and teaches courses in Organizational Theory and Behaviour, and Social Network Analysis and Strategies.

Daniela's research focuses on understanding the impact of social networks in creating competitive advantages for both individuals and organizations. She investigates how recruiting practices influence the composition of work groups and the impact of social networks on groups' performance, including learning transfer, and speed and accuracy of decision-making.

Prior to her PhD Daniela worked as a project assistant and consultant for a number of organizations, including the Soros Foundation, USAID, CEU Labor Project.
