The LSE Space for Thought series was created to celebrate the completion of the New Academic Building at LSE, which was officially opened by Her Majesty The Queen on 5 November 2008. These celebrations included an inaugural lecture series, with some of the world's leading academics, and LSE's first ever Literary Festival, which has now become an annual event.
LSE Space for Thought Literary Festival 2013: Branching Out| took place from Wednesday 27 February - Saturday 2 March 2013.
LSE Space for Thought Literary Festival 2012: Relating Cultures| took place from Wednesday 29 February - Saturday 3 March 2012.
LSE Space for Thought Literary Festival 2010: Off the Edge| took place from Thursday 11 - Saturday 13 February 2010. Podcasts and videos of many of the events are now online.
LSE Space for Thought Literary Weekend 2009|, LSE's first ever Literary Festival, took place from Friday 27 February - Sunday 1 March 2009. Podcats and vidoes of many of the events are now online.
LSE Space for Thought inaugural lecture series| included lectures by Professor Amartya Sen, Professor Paul Collier, Professor Manuel Castells and Professor Catherine Mackinnon. Podcasts of many of these lectures can be downloaded online.
