This panel explores whether the economic crisis has weakened, or strengthened, European democracy. It marks the publication of the book Blaming Europe? by Sara Hobolt and James Tilley.
Catherine de Vries is professor of European politics at University of Oxford.
Claes de Vreese is professor of political communication at the University of Amsterdam.
Mark Franklin is inaugural Stein Rokkan Chair at the European University Institute.
James Tilley is a lecturer in politics at University of Oxford.
