An American Century or an Asian Century?

Will the future belong to the new rising powers of Asia revolving around China or the West still led by the United States? These three distinguished analysts will argue that the answer may be even more complex and significant than current protagonists in the debate believe.

John Ikenberry is the Albert G Milbank Professor of Politics and International Affairs at Princeton University in the Department of Politics and the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs.

Michael Cox is founding co-director of LSE IDEAS and professor of International Relations at LSE.

For delegates who wish to obtain a CPD Certificate of Attendance, it is the responsibility of delegates to register their details with a LSE steward at the end of the event and as of 1 September 2014 a certificate will be sent within 28 days of the date of the event attended by the CPD Certification Service.  If a delegate fails to register their details at the event, it will not prove possible to issue a certificate.
