This event was originally scheduled to take place on Monday 28 November.

Al-Azm, one of the Middle East's most notable contemporary thinkers, will reflect on the effects of the Arab uprisings on Arab nationalism and Islamist movements.

Sadik Al Azm is emeritus professor of modern European philosophy at the University of Damascus.
