LSE Space for Thought Literary Festival creative writing workshop

Does the task of writing a novel both excite and daunt you? Do you have a draft, or part of a draft, that you long to finish? This workshop will look at what constitutes a first draft and how to prepare your manuscript in anticipation of approaching a literary agent.
Justine Mann’s short stories have been published in a succession of new writing anthologies. She was awarded second prize in the 2007 Fish International Short Story competition and was shortlisted for the 2008 Bridport Short Story Prize. Justine has an MA in Creative Writing from the University of East Anglia and tutors in creative writing for the Open University.
The next session in this series of creative writing workshops takes from from 11am- 12pm, A reading and Q&A session with the novelist Anjali Joseph.

Self-Assessment Record forms will be made available for delegates wishing to record further learning and knowledge enhancement for Continuing Personal and Professional Development (CPD) purposes. For delegates who wish to obtain a CPD Certificate of Attendance, it is the responsibility of delegates to register their details with a LSE steward at the end of the event and as of 1 September 2014 a certificate will be sent within 28 days of the date of the event attended by the CPD Certification Service. If a delegate fails to register their details at the event, it will not prove possible to issue a certificate.
