Ravi Kant is Vice-Chairman of India's largest Automobile Manufacturing Company, Tata Motors Ltd. This panel will discuss Business Model Innovation bringing in the perspective of development. The case in point is Tata Nano is referred to as the people's car as it is the most affordable vehicle in the world both for purchase and use. Time Magazine calls it "one of the most important cars ever designed" and Tata hopes it will help millions of people at the bottom of the pyramid in the developing world.
Ravi Kant, Vice-Chairman of Tata Motors Ltd. Harry Barkema is Professor in the Management Department at LSE. Dr. Ruth Kattumuri is the co-director of LSE India Observatory and Asia Research Centre.
