Speaker: Ambassador Zef Mazi
Ambassador Zef Mazi is a career diplomat. He is the Albanian Ambassador to the UK and the Republic of Ireland. Before coming to London in September 2007, he served as Ambassador, Permanent Representative of Albania to the OSCE, UN and other international organizations in Vienna. In 2004 he was nominated candidate for Secretary General of the The Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE). Ambassador Mazi was also a presidential candidate in Albania's 2002 Presidential elections.
In his lecture Ambassador Mazi will be discussing the prospects of an independent Kosova and the stability this will generate not only for Kosova as a new State but for the whole of the Balkan as a region.
