This lecture will explore how people's ideals of how they and others should behave affects economics.
George A. Akerlof is Koshland Professor of Economics at University of California, Berkeley and senior fellow at The Brookings Institute. He was awarded the 2001 Nobel Prize in Economics and is a former member of staff of LSE and an honorary graduate of the School.
