Leszek Balcerowicz is an economist, Professor at the Warsaw School of Economics and the holder of an honorary doctorate in many Polish and foreign universities. He is also the author of Polish economic reforms initiated after the fall of communism. He was a Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Finance in the first Polish post-communist government. He has received prestigious awards and honors - including the White Eagle Order, the highest state distinction in the Polish Republic, for his contribution to political transformation in Poland. Until two months ago he was President of the National Bank of Poland.
This event is free and open to all with no ticket required. Entry is on a first come, first served basis.
