Clare Short will reflect on current British foreign policy and its impact on development for countries of the south with particular reference to the ongoing war in Iraq

Clare Short has been MP for Birmingham Ladywood since 1983 and was secretary of state for international development from 1997 until 2003, when she resigned from the Cabinet over the war in Iraq.
