This event explores the interaction between development and international terrorism, the sources of terrorism in the developing world and the implications of the 'war on terror' for countries struggling to get out of poverty.

Professor Jo Beall and Dr James Putzel are based at LSE's Development Studies Institute. Professor Jude Howell is director of LSE's Centre for Civil Society. Ian Linden is based at the Department of the Study of Religions, SOAS. Dr Hugh Roberts is at the International Crisis Group. Dr Ben Wisner is a Visiting Professor of the Environmental Studies Program, Oberlin College, Ohio.

This event is free and open to all with no ticket required. Entry is on a first come, first serve basis.
