The Centre for Global Governance and Department of Sociology present five public lectures by Anthony Giddens, former Director of LSE and currently Emeritus Professor at the School.  In the lectures, Anthony Giddens will analyse some of the major forces driving social change in the contemporary world, with an emphasis upon the policy responses that might be made to them.  This second lecture will look at the topic of the American Empire?
