Some of the leading international and national experts in the fields of child rights and child poverty will talk about this key issue of the 21st Century. It will provide an opportunity for human rights experts to discuss issues of poverty and the fulfilment of rights with child poverty researchers, campaigners and policy makers.
The results of a major UNICEF study on child poverty and child rights in developing countries will also be presented. This research provides the first scientific estimates of the extent and depth of child poverty in the developing world.
