Societies are now richer, healthier and more productive because humanity has successfully fostered creativity and ingenuity and put to productive use the fruits of that intellectual labour. But what challenges do we now face in managing intellectual assets?
Danny Quah is professor of economics at LSE and a research fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research.
