Governor Bernanke's speech will discuss some recent research on the impact of Federal Reserve policies on the stock and bond markets and attempt to draw some lessons for current US monetary policy.
Ben S Bernanke took office as a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System in 2002. Prior to this, he was the Howard Harrison and Gabrielle Snyder Beck Professor of Economics and Public Affairs, Princeton University.
The lecture has been co-organised by STICERD, the Bank of England and the Department of Economics.
