How the US misunderstood the nature of victory in the Cold War, and why successful market economies are necessarily embedded in a social, political and economic context.
John Kay has held chairs at London Business School and Oxford University, was founding chairman of London Economics and a director of several public companies. He is a visiting professor at LSE.
