LSE offers three summer schools:

Executive Summer School

A new initiative: this programme of intensive one-week, small group courses is designed for professionals with at least two years' work experience who wish to develop their breadth of corporate knowledge. Courses include Leadership, Negotiation, Banking and Derivatives.

All courses are instructed by full-time LSE faculty and each course is tailor-made for professionals using an array of learning methods, including seminars, interactive lectures, case studies and simulation exercises. The programme is designed to engage, challenge and equip professionals with the latest knowledge, skills and expertise. Taught in the purpose built New Academic Building recently opened by Her Majesty The Queen – a stunning location overlooking Lincoln’s Inn Fields. See Executive Summer School.


LSE Summer School

Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year. Now arguably one of the largest Summer Schools in Europe. The Summer School programme offers over 60 intensively taught top-level three-week courses, in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, Management and International Relations.

Based on regular undergraduate courses taught at LSE and instructed by leading international faculty. The programme provides a unique learning experience and is the perfect enhancement to a degree or professional development. See LSE Summer School

 

LSE-PKU Summer School, Beijing

The LSE and Peking University, two of the world’s leading institutions for teaching and research, continue their successful collaboration to deliver another exciting Summer School in Beijing from 10-22 August 2009. Now in its sixth year, the Summer School offers courses in Economics, Finance, International Relations, Law, Management and Media. All courses Include a Chinese and/or Asian dimension and are taught in English by internationally renowned specialists in their field.

The LSE-PKU Summer School is an intensive, two-week university-level programme. It is suitable for both university students and professionals and attracts students from all over the world. See LSE-PKU Summer School
