We offer a broad range of exciting and challenging courses on all four of our MSc programmes. Our staff are experts in a broad area of research and their interest and expertise form the base of our teaching.

You can find a list of everyone teaching in 2019/20 on our webpages. Prof Miklos Redei is back from his sabbatical and will be teaching again. We have a new member of staff, Dr Jonathan Parry, who joins us from the University of Birmingham and will be teaching on our Philosophy, Morals and Politics and Philosophy and Public Policy courses. We are also in the process of recruiting an additional member of academic staff to join us in September.

Due to staff availability we are not always able to offer the full range of courses. Sadly, in 2019/20 the following courses have to be suspended:

PH404 – Scientific Revolutions

PH423 – Scientific Method and Policy

PH427 – Genes, Brains and Society

PH432 – Effective Philanthropy

PH456 – Rationality and Choice

We also no longer offer PH428 – Emotion, Cognition and Behaviour. This course has been redeveloped and we are now offering a new course in Philosophy of Gender and Race.

The full list of courses will shortly be available on the LSE calendar.
