The 4th annual LSE-Bayreuth Student Philosophy Conference took place 12–13 May at the University of Bayreuth, Germany.

The annual LSE-Bayreuth Student Philosophy Conference gives the opportunity for students from LSE and the University of Bayreuth to present their work in a friendly and supportive environment, and to receive commentary on their papers from LSE and Bayreuth academics.

Three LSE students participated in this year’s conference alongside those from the University of Bayreuth: Chelsea Murtha (studying for an MSc in Philosophy of Public Policy), Yucheng Lu (studying for a BSc in in Philosophy, Logic, and Scientific Method) and Vassili Romanovskiy (studying for a BSc in Philosophy and Economics). The conference was a great success, with excellent presentations, helpful commentaries and engaging conversations.

LSE is grateful those at Bayreuth who commented and helped to organise the event, including: Roberto Fumagalli, Jan-Willem van der Rijt, Alice Pinheiro Walla and Matthew Braham.
