Professor Roman Frigg has won the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation’s prestigious Bessel Research Award.

The Friedrich Wilhelm Bessel Research Award is given to internationally renowned academics expected to continue producing cutting-edge achievements within their field. The award is given in recognition of their accomplishments in research. The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation seeks to promote international academic cooperation between scholars from across the world and winners are invited to pursue research in a German university.
