Head of Department, Professor Miklós Rédei, will be one of three Plenary Speakers at the British Society for the Philosophy of Science Conference this summer.

The British Society for the Philosophy of Science (BSPS) holds a major conference each summer, this year it will take place in Cardiff, 7–8 July. The BSPS Conference is attended by many of the world’s leading philosophers of science and features prominently on the philosophical calendar.

We’re pleased to announce that this year’s conference will feature our Head of Department, Professor Miklós Rédei, as a Plenary Speaker. Prof Rédei will be appearing alongside Professor Samir Okasha from the University of Bristol and Professor Lisa Bortolotti from the University of Birmingham and will give a talk entitled “Properties of Bayesian learning based on conditional expectation as a conditioning device”.
