Dr Nicole Watts, who was in Sulaimaniya last spring for the 'Kurdish Spring', discusses her ongoing research on dissent and campaigns for social and political change in Iraqi Kurdistan.

Dr Watts is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at San Francisco State University where she teaches on comparative politics, Middle East politics and social movements.
