A team of LSE students are selling two originally designed t-shirts to raise money for The Prince's Trust.
The team, comprising Sarah Martin, Fiona Mansfield, Manav Frohde, and Jenna Tan who are all third year students at LSE, are raising money as part of a project by Ernst & Young called Profitunity! The project sees teams from the UK's top universities develop and carry out business ideas to raise money for The Trust. Each team was given a £500 starting fund and an Ernst & Young business expert to provide guidance throughout the project.
The t-shirts have been designed by two up and coming artists, Insu Kim and Alicia Whitfield, both from the University of Arts London.
Jenna Tan, one of the team members, said: 'The t-shirt designs were chosen for their representation of the ethnic diversity of London and the positive contribution of youth to modern culture. We intend to raise at least £5000 as that is what it costs The Prince's Trust to help one disadvantaged young person set up their own business and turn their lives around.'
Insu Kim's design features his interpretation of Korean Empress Myung-Sung Wang Hu, while Alicia Whitfield's design is inspired by the wallpaper of Buckingham Palace.
The t-shirts are on sale from Monday 23 March, for £10 each, from the University of Arts online shop or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Insu's design is available in a men's style t-shirt. Alicia's design is available in a women's style t-shirt. Both are available in sizes small, medium and large.
The Prince's Trust is a charity that helps change young people's lives. Youth unemployment costs the UK economy £10 million a day in lost productivity, and youth crime costs £1 billion every year. The Trust offers financial help and practical support to the young people who need it most. It helps develop key skills, confidence and motivation, facilitating young people to move into work, education or training.
