Franco Frattini, vice-president of the EU Commission and commissioner responsible for justice, freedom and security, will give a public lecture at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) on Friday 23 February. His lecture is entitled 'Future of EU Migration and Integration Policies'.
This lecture explains why the EU has a key role to play in the Europe-wide debate about immigration, social integration and economic development.
This event is one in a series of FT Business-LSE European Institute: The Future of Europe public lectures, and will be chaired by Professor Damian Chalmers, LSE.
Franco Frattini is a vice-president of the EU Commission and commissioner responsible for justice, freedom and security, a position he has held since November 2004. Prior to this, he served as Italian minister for foreign affairs; minister for the civil service; and minister for coordination of the intelligence and security services.
Future of EU Migration and Integration Policies is on Friday 23 February 2007 at 11am-12noon in the Hong Kong Theatre, Clement House, LSE, Aldwych, London WC2A. This event is free and open to all with no ticket required. Entry is on a first come, first served basis.
