Stephen Green, group chief executive of HSBC Holdings Plc, will participate in a Director's Dialogue with LSE Director, Howard Davies, on Thursday 18 May at LSE.

This event is held in conjunction with the LSESU Business Society and is one in a series of events where the Director debates key issues with leading figures.

Director's Dialogue with Stephen Green is on Thursday 18 May 2006 at 6.30pm in the Old Theatre, Old Building, LSE, Houghton Street, London WC2A. This event is free and open to all with no ticket required.

HSBC CEO: Investment Banking Unit now at 'critical mass' (18 May 06)
HSBC Holdings PLC's investment banking unit has now reached "critical mass" after several years spent building it up, HSBC Chief Executive Stephen Green said Thursday. "We've been investing quite significantly, building out our investment banking services" for the last three years, Green told the audience during a talk at the London School of Economics.
