LSE professors address urgent issues about HIV/AIDS epidemic and international security

New research launched 9 March, Living with AIDS screening and talk 10 March

In the next edition of International Affairs, to be published on Monday 13 March, Professors Gwyn Prins and Tony Barnett will each have substantial papers on the relation between the HIV/AIDS epidemic and security.

New report to launch 9 March

Professor Prins and Professor Barnett will also launch a new report to UNAIDS on Thursday 9 March on HIV/AIDS and Security: fact, fiction and evidence.

Screening of Living with AIDS   

Celebrated film maker Sorious Samura will also be visiting LSE on Friday 10 March to show and discuss his disturbing film Living with AIDS

Living with AIDS is one of the most powerful films ever made about the HIV/AIDS epidemic. Its director, Sorious Samura, will present the film and participate in a discussion on the points he raises after its screening. Professor Tony Barnett, Economic and Social Research Council Professorial Research Fellow at LSE and director of LSEAIDS, will introduce Samura and chair the discussion.
