Disinterestedness in politics

Professor Jon Elster, Collège de France, will give two public lectures at LSE entitled Disinterestedness in Politics I and II. The events, on Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 November, will explore the scope for disinterested political behaviour and mechanisms that may bring it about.

Professor Elster holds the Chaire de Rationalité et Sciences Sociales at the Collège de France.

Disinterestedness in Politics is on Tuesday 28 November and Wednesday 29 November 2006 at 6.30-8pm in the Old Theatre, Old Building, LSE, Houghton Street, London WC2A. The events are both free and open to all with no ticket required.
