Jerzy Buzek to speak at LSE

MEP Professor Jerzy Buzek, former prime minister of Poland, will give a public lecture at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) on Thursday 23 February. He will speak on The Future of R&D and Energy Policy in the EU.

Professor Jerzy Buzek is former prime minister of Poland. He is currently a member of the European Parliament and MEP of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats) and European Democrats. He serves on the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy, and the EU-Ukraine Parliamentary Cooperation Committee.

Dr Spyros Economides, International Relations Department at LSE, will chair this event, which is organised by the LSESU Polish Society.

The Future of R&D and Energy Policy in the EU is on Thursday 23 February at 3pm in Room D502, Clement House, LSE, Aldwych, London. This event is free and open to all with no ticket required.
