Development of Indian capital markets

Ghyanendra Nath Bajpai, former chairman former of the Securities and Exchange Board of India, will give a public lecture at LSE on Monday 2 October. He will speak on the development of Indian capital markets.

Ghyanendra Nath Bajpai was chairman of the Securities and Exchange Board of India from 2002 to 2005. Prior to this he was chairman of Life Insurance Corporation of India. He recently lectured at Harvard University.

Howard Davies, director of LSE, will chair this event, which is co-organised by the LSE Students Union SPICE (Society for Promotion of Indian Culture and Ethos).

Development of Indian capital markets is on Monday 2 October 2006 at 1pm in U8, ground floor, Tower 1, Clements' Inn, London WC2A. This event is free and open to all with no ticket required.
