LSE academic nominated for Industrial Relations Research Association Young Scholar Award 2003

Dr John Logan of the Industrial Relations department, LSE, has been nominated for the Industrial Relations Research Association (IRRA) Young Scholar Award 2003.

John Logan is a lecturer at LSE's Industrial Relations department and returns to LSE in 2004 after a year's research leave at the University of California-Los Angeles.

The IRRA gives two such awards each year to young scholars for their outstanding contribution to international and comparative labour and employment research, and for the best contribution to research that addresses an industrial relations/employment problem of national significance. Dr Carola Frege of LSE's Industrial Relations department was nominated for the award in 2002.

Awardees will be recognized at the IRRA 56th Annual Meeting in Philadelphia, USA, in January 2005.
