LSE offers short courses for business people

LSE Executive Education is now offering its 2004 programme of open enrolment courses. 

These two and three day courses are aimed at senior managers from local and international organisations in both the public and private sectors. They are designed to provide a stimulating environment for people to update their skills and knowledge, develop new approaches to the challenges facing their organisations and engage with their fellow students.

The 2004 programme will consist of the following:

  • Modern Economics for Senior Executives, taught by Professor Danny Quah
  • International Financial Accounting Standards 2005, taught by David Cairns
  • Derivatives: Pricing, Use and Regulation, taught by Dr Jean-Pierre Zigrand
  • New Perspectives on Making Effective Decisions, taught by Professor Larry Phillips
  • Behavioural Economics: Principles for Effective Management, taught by Dr Daniel Read
  • Public Sector Planning and Organisational Strategy, taught by Dr Michael Barzelay
