Lecture series with Professor Lord Giddens continues with focus on America

Professor Lord Anthony Giddens, former director of LSE and emeritus professor of sociology at the School, continues a series of lectures on The Future of World Society with a look at American empire, Wednesday 27 October at LSE.

The series, which explores some of the forces driving social change in the comptemporary world, continues with: 

  • The Future of World Society - Europe and Asia. Wednesday 3 November, 1.05pm, Old Theatre, Old Building.
  • The Future of World Society - The New Terrorism. Wednesday 10 November, 1.05pm, Old theatre, Old Building.
  • The Future of World Society - The Rich and the Poor. Wednesday 17 November, 1.05pm, Old Theatre, Old Building.

The Future of World Society: American empire is on Wednesday 27 October at 1.05pm in the Old Theatre, Old Building, LSE, Houghton Street, London WC2A. This event is free and open to all with no ticket required.
