It's foreign policy stupid! Bush v Kerry

Jamey Dumas, chair of UK Democrats Abroad, and [Update: 21 Oct] Michael Carter, head of communications and media for UK Republicans Abroad, will debate the forthcoming US elections on Monday 25 October at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

The 2004 presidential election promises to be the most divisive, exciting and important for many years. And there is a single reason why: President Bush's controversial and now costly decision to convert an unconventional war against terrorism into a war against Iraq. For the first time since Vietnam national security, rather than economics, could thus easily determine America's future and that of the rest of the world.

Professor Michael Cox, LSE, will chair this debate.

It's Foreign Policy Stupid! Bush v Kerry is on Monday 25 October at 6.30pm in the Old Theatre, Old Building, LSE, Houghton Street, London WC2A. This event is free and open to all however a ticket is required.
