The LSE Public Policy Group is offering graduate students from any department an opportunity to apply for an (unpaid) Parliamentary Internship at Westminster and a few other political organisations.
The scheme matches up LSE students with MPs (and some Peers) to give first hand experience of the House of Commons and the British political process. Students must be prepared to commit to a minimum of one day per week carrying out research for an MP.
Typical assignments include writing briefings and speeches, working on specific projects and assisting with constituency work. Applicants must have excellent English skills, be efficient and motivated.
