Students can now study at LSE and in Paris with a new MSc The Practise of International Affairs, launching this October 2003.
This two year postgraduate programme devised by the Department of International Relations at LSE and Sciences-Po in Paris (Fondation Nationale des Sciences Politiques: Institut d'études politiques de Paris), focuses on international negotiation and it is intended for those intending to practise negotiation in government, international institutions, and business.
LSE and Sciences-Po both have a strong international academic reputation, and the first successful applicants will begin their course in Paris in October 2003 (see MSc International Relations). The second year will be studied at LSE, with students following courses in a programme which follows the standard MSc pattern. The qualification awarded will be the Diplôme (Sciences-Po), MSc (International Relations, LSE). There are two formal certificates, one for each award.
