Leader of German opposition, Dr Angela Merkel, to speak at LSE

Social Market Economy and Globalisation - new challenges for Europe and Germany

Dr  Angela Merkel, chairperson of the CDU/CSU-Parliamentary Group in the German Bundestag and leader of the German opposition, will be speaking on Social Market Economy and Globalisation - new challenges for Europe and Germany on Tuesday 10 June at LSE.

Professor Anthony Giddens, director of LSE, will chair this event, which is free and open to all, but a ticket is required.
