John Nash, A Beautiful Mind and Game Theory

The work and life of John Nash, winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics in 1994, have recently been made the subject of the Oscar winning film A Beautiful Mind.

Professor Ariel Rubinstein, professor of economics at Tel Aviv University and Princeton University, will take a critical look at Nash's work on game theory and the film on Tuesday 4 February at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).

The audience will be asked to participate in an online experiment and the results will be used in the lecture.

Professor Richard Jackman, convenor of the Economics Department, LSE, will chair this event, which is free and open to all. No ticket required.
