Business and Society Beyond 2015

Convergence between nanotech, biotech, artificial intelligence and information technology will dramatically change business and society over the next two decades. Entire industry sectors will be challenged, but jobs based mostly on human interaction will thrive.

Ian Pearson, futurologist at BT, will give his predictions on Business and Society Beyond 2015 and look at the changes ahead, good and bad, on Tuesday 11 November at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). Professor Robin Mansell, Dixons Chair in New Media, will act as discussant.

Ian Pearson is a futurologist at BT Exact. He tracks technology developments across the field of information and communication technologies and develops future scenarios for British Telecom.

Professor Henrietta Moore will chair this event.

Business and Society Beyond 2015 is on Tuesday 11 November at 6pm in the Old Theatre, Old Building, LSE, Houghton St, London WC2A. This event is free and open to all with no ticket required.
