Can the West Spread Democracy to the Middle East?

Professor Benjamin Barber, former adviser to Bill Clinton, distinguished political theorist and author of international bestseller Jihad versus McWorld, will be looking at whether the west can spread democracy to the Middle East on Wednesday 18 June at the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Can the West Spread Democracy to the Middle East? Beyond Jihad versus McWorld is organised, in association with LSE's Centre for Global Governance, as part of the Civility programme at The Foreign Policy Centre.
