Socialism for a Sceptical Age

Tony Benn, Professor Anthony Giddens, Professor Leo Panitch, and Hilary Wainwright will debate Socialism for a Sceptical Age on Tuesday 29 October at LSE.

Professor Michael Newman will introduce this panel debate to celebrate the launch of his new publication Ralph Miliband and the Politics of the New Left (Merlin Press). Ralph Miliband is a key 20th century political thinker, whose work was devoted to the attempt to define and apply an independent form of socialism.

Professor Mary Kaldor, LSE, will chair the event. This debate is free and open to all but a ticket is required.
