Serbian Prime Minister visits LSE

Serbian Prime Minister, Zoran Djindjic, spoke to LSE students, academics and members of the public in a lecture, Serbia on the Path to Europe, on Tuesday 23 April at LSE.

President of the Democratic Party and Prime Minister since January 2001, Dr Zoran Djindjic was one of the Party's founding members. From 1977 to 1989 he taught at the Konstatz, Bonn and Frankfurt Universities/Institutes for the Social Sciences. He is considered one of the leading Serb intellectuals, and has had a variety of articles, essays and books published, including Serbia between the East and West and Yugoslavia - the partially formed state.

Mr Djindjic went on to meet the Prime Minister at No 10 Downing Street in the afternoon.
